The short version, which is not the agreement
- One key per account. What it calls, you pay for. Rotate it yourself if it leaks.
- Plans renew until you cancel. Cancel any time, keep access to the end of the period, fees are not refunded.
- Build what you like on the data, including commercially. Do not resell the dataset itself.
- The data is supplied as is, it is not betting advice, and your staking decisions are yours.
1Who we are, and what this covers
dartsapi.com is a darts data API operated by DeveloperData.net (Developer Data) ("we", "us"), Empire Tower, 41st Floor, Unit 4106-7, South Sathorn Road, Yannawa, Sathorn, Bangkok 10120, Thailand. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you open an account, hold an API key, or call the API, on any plan including the free key.
A purchase may be credited to the partner who referred you. This never changes the price you pay.
If you are using the API for a company, you are agreeing on that company's behalf, and you confirm you may do so.
2Your account and your key
Accounts are opened with Google sign-in. We take your name and email address from Google, and nothing else.
Your account holds one API key. Treat it as a password:
- Everything called with your key counts as called by you, and is billed to you.
- Keep it out of public code, browser JavaScript, mobile apps and screenshots.
- If it gets out, rotate it from your dashboard. The old key stops working the moment you do.
- One key belongs to one account. Sharing it with other people or other companies is not allowed.
Tell us promptly if you think someone else has your key or your account.
3Plans, prices and payment
Plans are Free key, Live, Archive, Complete and Analyst. What each one includes is set out on the pricing page, and prices are in US dollars.
Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or annually depending on the plan you chose, until you cancel. Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Annual plans are charged for twelve months at ten months' price, up front.
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. If it keeps failing, your plan ends and your key drops to the free plan.
We may change prices. Existing subscriptions keep their price for the rest of the period they have paid for, and we will write to you at least 30 days before a change affects a renewal.
Prices exclude any sales tax, VAT or similar charge, which is added at checkout where it applies.
4Cancelling, and refunds
You can cancel at any time from Manage billing in your dashboard. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
When you cancel, your plan keeps running to the end of the period you have already paid for. After that your key stays alive on the free plan, so nothing you built stops answering without warning.
Fees are not refunded automatically, and part periods are not pro-rated, except where the law says otherwise. The full position, and the form that opens a review, are on the
refunds page. This does not affect any statutory rights you have.
5How you may use the data
While your plan is active, you may call the API and use what it returns inside your own products, models, research, tools and reporting, including commercially.
You may cache responses and store what you need. You may show the data to your own users.
What you may not do
- Republish or resell the data in bulk, or offer a product whose main purpose is to hand on our dataset.
- Share, sublicense or sell your key, or let others call the API through your account as a service.
- Work around rate limits or plan boundaries, including by holding several accounts to get more free calls.
- Attempt to breach, probe or overload the service, or scrape the site instead of using the API.
- Use the data anywhere it would be unlawful, including gambling that is illegal where you or your users are.
Rate limits apply per plan and are published on the pricing page. We may throttle or briefly suspend a key that is putting the service at risk, and we will tell you when we do.
6The data itself
Our data is compiled from published match results and statistics, and from our own calculations on top of them. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, or free of error or delay.
Probabilities, model outputs and derived statistics are estimates, not predictions of what will happen.
Nothing here is betting advice. Any staking, trading or business decision you make with this data is yours alone, and so is the outcome. Bet responsibly, and only what you can afford to lose.
7Availability and changes to the API
We aim to keep the service available and quick, but it is provided as is, without an uptime guarantee unless we have agreed one with you in writing.
We may add to the v1 API at any time: new endpoints, and new fields on existing responses. Write your code so that unexpected fields do not break it.
If we ever have to make a change that breaks existing calls, we will announce it, keep the old behaviour working for at least 90 days, and write to active keys that are using it.
Maintenance, and the occasional failure of something we depend on, may interrupt the service.
8Suspension and ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time by cancelling and asking us to delete it.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other customers at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
If we close your account for breaking these terms, we do not refund the rest of the period.
When an account is closed, its key stops working and its data is deleted on the schedule in the privacy notice.
9Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, revenue, goodwill or data, or for betting, trading or investment losses, however they arise.
Our total liability to you in any twelve month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
The service is provided without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.
10Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version and date at the top of this page always show which version is in force.
For a change that materially affects you, we will write to active accounts at least 30 days before it takes effect. Carrying on using the API after that date means you accept the new version. If you would rather not, cancel before it takes effect.
12Governing law, and how to reach us
These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of Thailand, and the courts of Bangkok have exclusive jurisdiction.
Card charges appear as DEVELOPERDATA.NET. Billing questions: https://developerdata.net/support?tab=charge
If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
To reach us, open a ticket on the support page. Everything we answer stays in that thread, so nothing is lost in an inbox.
